Can a woman tell that a man is wearing female perfume?

i'm a straight male and i like to wear woman's perfume (obsession %26amp; oscar de la renta are my favorites)......i was walking around the mall one time and a woman said to me that she liked my cologne and asked what kind it was....i said calvin klein.....the question is.....can a woman tell that a man i wearing girls perfume, or that it just smells nice??Can a woman tell that a man is wearing female perfume?
unless its one that they use daily and love or are a perfume expert i dont think they'd be able to tell. and if they ask just say its the mens version of that perfume. Sometimes I wear mens cologne, Romance by Ralph Lauren, try that scent because its not overpowering or strong like most mens cologne!





Also I dont think Obsession is really girly anyway!Can a woman tell that a man is wearing female perfume?
the lady maybe knew it was a ladies perfume, and wanted to know what it was. don't they have obsession for men? or- go to the guys colognes, and pick something light.
Obsession is a familiar fragrance to women so many women would recognize it or vaguely know that the fragrance is ';women's';. I (female) like to wear certain men's perfumes. I think you would have to explore the chemistry of the different perfumes to see if they have pheromones allocated differently to ';men's'; and ';women's';.





Wear what you like to wear. If you are not gay, then you may be getting more female attention than the guys who wear that rugged ';me man'; stuff! Cheers to you for being different.
i agree with that one person our body's chemistry is all different thats why you should try perfume on before buying because it can turn bad on you. if its really fruity flowery im sure someone would or could take notice!
Bet she looked at you weird and presumed you said ';Camilla Kline';. I'd rather smell female perfume on a female than on myself. That is the objective, 'aint it?

You better try very masculine perfumes like Polo or Hugo Boss for men.

Usually yes, although some women's perfumes have a more sporty or fresh scent to them, which can be worn by men too.





An example is anything by Adidas, Puma, those are quite sporty scents. Also, Calvin Klein ';ONE';, is a fragrance that can be worn by both sexes.





If you are wearing a very scented or floral fragrance than, that wouldn't be appropriate
Sometimes she can but usually not. Since it's womens perfume it's smells good to us so we don't think anything of it.

Some perfumes are more feminine than others, while others are more musky and can be easily mistaken as a mans cologne. I wouldnt worry about it. If you like it, wear it.
well of course everything reacts with an individuals body chemestry, but Im thiking I would be able to tell if it was a womans.
Well i personally i wear fresh and fruity perfumes so theres every chance i would notice if its one of my favourites.





Some people may just think that your girlfriend has sprayed perfume near you or something.
