I like Paloma Picasso. I also like the Aromatherapy Eucalyptus and Spearmint from Bath and Body Works.
Perfumes are yucky! They give me a headache!!!

Keeping your skin clean and fresh by taking a shower 2-3 times a day is good enuff.

And if you sweat too much can use a deodorant.

Can perfume turn away a man you want to avoid ?

i watched a movie in which the girl wanted to get over her relationship with a guy who had deserted her. she called a friend asking for advice. the advice was to wear some perfume BEFORE she goes out of her hiding place. it worked . what does this mean ?Can perfume turn away a man you want to avoid ?

I think the movie is meaning that the guy knows her by her ';smell';? I don't think it would really work. A perfume with a bad smell will turn away anyone...if you're willing to try.

Men's tastes greatly differ from women's tastes- I know so because I always get comments from girls about Ocean Pacific.

The 2 perfumes, from my experience that drive men wild and ALWAYS get loads of admiring comments are :-

Paloma Piccasso and Private Collection.

Private Collection is the perfume that Estee Lauder made for herself, she eventually decided to market it, it's great.

You must also remember that perfumes smell different on different people due to our different chemical make up. A good idea is to take a man with you when you test, see what his reactions are to different brands. Je Reviene ( unsure of spelling ) by Worth is also very sensual.

I really don't think men like over powering heavy perfumes.
i go with things that men associate women with, light floral scents, light fruity scents, things like that. i get complimented no matter what i choose and i choose a body spray rather than a parfume most of the time. guys dont often like 2 overthink small things so a body spray is just one scent while a parfume is a mixture of scents. but if its a 2 die 4 parfume that makes u think all things female then go 4 it. i right now have guys literally sniffing me all the time and im using a morning glory body spray.

I've been told that fruity flavors from those body sprays smell good. Strawberry, cotton candy, apple, vanilla, etc...Try it, it's worked for me!

Don't take a bath in any of it. Just a touch. Carry a small atomizer in your purse to refresh it rather than hose yourself down in the morning. You DO NOT want people to smell you coming down the hall. I know women who wear that much perfume and even if it's good stuff it will gag everyone within thirty yards. Think ';subtle'; and ';sophisticated';. Think ';lady';. Think ';mystery';. Think ';hint';, not deluge.

I get many compliments on my perfume mostly because it is subtle and different. I use Aveda perfume which I did one of their essential oil tours and you choose from many different scents until it comes down to 3 scents, they mix the three and you have your own custom perfume. All their essential oils smell fabulous, so you cannot go wrong.

You will want a gourmand perfume, since those are the ones men love the most. I've seen a ton of polls where just men were asked about perfume. The deeper, sexy ones get their attention. Not so much a fruity sweet perfume. It might take a little research, but look at a perfume you like and look up the notes used in it online. Look for vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, praline and chocolate. These are mixed with other notes to make pretty amazing perfumes. I agree about Armani code, it's very sexy. I also love Betsey Johnson, Dolce and Gabbana the one, Ck euphoria, and Pleasures delight. White Diamonds or Opium always work for me. You need to try some, different perfumes spell different on different people.

I find the shape of the female breast very attractive and how the nipple stands out sometimes even through the bra as a tell tale sign that she is excited.
White Diamonds is my favorite but I am prejudiced because that is what my wife wears.
I love Eternity--it has a slightly floral fragrance, but it is very distinctive. If you have ever smelled it/worn it, then you know what I mean! :0) I am not sure what the ingredients are, but I do know that most perfume counters in stores like Belk or J.C.Penney do have samples they can give you for free.

I love Green Tea. Elizabeth Arden. It is a very clean scent.
Estee Lauder's Beyond Paradise is a soft, floral, clean scent. I just got Dior's J'Adore and it smells wonderful. I have had so many people stop and ask me what I was wearing. The most compliments I've ever received over a fragrance I had on, though, is when I wear Sparkling White Diamonds. I, personally, am not a fan of the original, but this one is awesome. It's a floral, citrus, freesia blend and it smells very clean.

I use several different perfumes for different occasions, but my all time favorite is a perfume called Essence Pure by St. Dupont. It reminds me of a mix of oranges chocolate and exotic spices. I prefer perfumes that are soft and sensual and a touch exotic smelling. A sweet smell is okay or a single flower smell, but I find I don't like a flower mix.

As far as what is in this particular perfume, I remember that there is fig, vanilla, manderin orange, and that about all I remember. I know there was a lot more.

This is a very hard to find perfume. You can sometimes find it on Ebay, or on the net. Occasionally you might find a store like Perfumania that has some in stock, but that is really rare.
I love the sugar type of perfume at Sephora. They have sample sticks that you can spray the testers on there. I hope that this is helpful!

Whatever it is they should be careful about how much they use! Too many young men smell like they bathe in Polo. Just about any cologne will do. I prefer higher end perfumes/ colognes: Bulgari, Dior, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, etc.

Although there are many downright sensual perfumes available on the market, My personal favorite is the vanilla scented perfume.I am not sure of the brand names, But the one in the yellow box is great! I found this to be not to strong and almost intoxicating!! Spray a little on and prepare to be ravished!!

It's just association. Pine, 'aqua', woody and spicey smells are more masculine and fruity, sweet smells are more female. I usually wear lynx with joop for men and people always compliment me on my lovely perfume.

I wear diesel every day as it's quite well priced and smells nice, it's not one for a big night out or anything like that but a good choice for daytime.

hmmm...depends on the guy you want. I did this once with bud light (hey, i gotta watch my figure and dont want all those calories on my hips) so I splashed on Bud light and it worked like a charm. Tons of winners from the local pub swarmed to me...all figuring they didn't need to buy me a round, and there i was, men at my becking call, and I was totally sober to enjoy it. What a night that was. I met my first 4 husbands this way.

If u ever smelled beer up close it has a sharpish smell. So dont use beer as perfume. Instead look around you and find men who want you dont chase after men who dont want to be with you
The problem with starting out with an expensive beer like Bud is that they will always expect you to live up to those high standards. I would use Pabst Blue Ribbon or Schlitz both a great tasting beer and easier on the budget

I was just informed by my best friend (who is a guy) that ';Sweet Pea'; by Bath and Body Works is, and I quote:

There's nothing that works perfectly with me that will definitly work really well with your body. Each skin accepts different perfumes.

Search for the perfume that suits your personality best (e.g: Spice vs Aqua style). They are 2 totally different types and you cannot love both. You will certainly like one of them. After words, list all the perfumes from the category that you chose and try it on the side of your neck. Ask guys you trust what they thought of it. If you got several compliments for the same perfume (especially if you didn't ask for feedback), it means that's your perfume.

P.S: You body will tend to observe ';Your'; perfume very quickly, it may not last too long, which is good, it will become part of your smell.

For spice perfumes, I find Organza, Cashmere %26amp; Jean Paul Gaultier are the best.

Well we all know sometimes it gets all hot and sweaty. Well the sweat as well as the scent gets transmitted from skin to skin contact and if it gets a little sweaty it would be more so.
The fact that they have had sex, they have been physically close for some time. Add to that the fact that we produce oils that interact with the perfume and mingle with each other's sweat, saliva...and so on, if the man doesn't shower afterwards, he smells like the woman he was with. Any perfume whch has strong notes of vanilla. I always wear addict by dior, (dark blue bottle), its expensive and to me the top notes are not that nice but when its on your skin a few minutes it smells divine! I wear Abercrombie and Fitch for a light lovely scent, Armani Code for a deeper and muskier fragrance, or Michael for a plumeria blossom smell.

In MY case these artificial ingredients can constrict my trachea and make it difficult to breathe entirely. Your hubby probably has the lighter form of this sort of allergy and it only irritates his nose. I have NO problems with naturally derived scents such as PURE essential oils. therefore, if I'm with a woman who likes to wear a scent, I will go and get her a nice selection of essential oils and blend them with a suitable carrier oil or Ethanol so that she can make herself smell nice without having her put me into the hospital.

NONE. Most guys tend to put on way too much and stink. No reason to wear any at all if you just keep clean, and wear antiperspirant. You have a natural scent that is covered up if you wear too much fragrance, including scented deodorants or aftershave. I've been told I smell nice by several women and never wear any fragrance-- so my natural scent is, as it should be, pleasing to females. Go for the natural scent dude and save your money

I wish I knew of the most 'trendy' scents out right NOW. I couldn't tell you the very latest and hottest perfumes but here are some very pouplar scents that many women buy: Armani- Code, Gucci- Rush, and Gucci- Rush 2 (my personal fav), the original J.Lo- Glo (very popular among younger women), Kenneth Cole Black, Ralph Lauren- Ralph, Calvin Klein- Eternity just to name a few. Those are some of the more popular scents that MOST people like. Depending on the age, there is always the classics, Coco Chanel No. 5, The original Charlie etc... Young girls however seem to favor more fruity fun scents like Clinique Happy, Curve or Victoria's Secret sprays (eg. Pear Glace, Strawberries and Champagne). In Eau de Toilette the Fragrance has more water in it resulting in a lighter smell of the fragrance. The Eau de Perfum has more of the fragrance and less water, making the smell stronger and last longer.

I don't know about scents, but there is one called ';White Shoulders';. That one makes me want to bite someone. Very erotic. And some lady was wearing something the other day that smelled like fresh soap. Very light, provocative, mysterious. Like it was there but it wasn't. Smelled so good, I followed her around the store for an hour just to smell it (at a distance of course). Wish I could have told her how nice she smelled. I can't stand the sweet smelling stuff. Some women tend to over use it to the point that is is nauseating.

I would suggest either Armani Mania or Armani Diamonds. Both of them are really nice scents I, however, prefer Diamonds.
