Yea, you must be cologne and a tried and true one is definitely CURVE...it's the greatest and it's old and relatively cheap. Another great one is Unforgiveable by Sean John. Awesome smell...though a lil' pricey. Cuban Cigar is a great smell as well. But I actually think the best smell on a man is his bath soap/shower gel. I think the ';ladies'; are wrong. It was a sweet and romantic gesture for you to buy that special person a perfume. However, it's always good to ';check in'; with a woman to find out what kinds of fragrances she likes (i.e. florals, spicy, natural, etc) first since women can be particular about what they wear. If you find out that she doesn't like it, you might want to ask her the types of fragrances that she likes. About 15 years ago there was this perfume that came out called ';Poison';. Mostly every one I know got a bottle from our boyfriends and mostly all of us hated it because it was so strong. I like Avon's Wild Country. It is relatively inexpensive. And has a wonderful fragrance. But every one has there own preference. Most department stores have a variety of fragrances you can try before you buy.

I think it depends on the scent and reason for wearing it. If it smells like a fragrance that would pass as a guy's, just wear it. But if the reason is that it reminds you of a girl or girl's perfume, probably not the best idea.
