Is it true that no man will buy a women perfume if she is really special to him?

i bought a bottle or perfume and manage to send it to a special person. i know. very special. when i told few ladies they said how sweet and romantic and they no man will simply go buy a woman perfume. i just wonder if she liked it, i am really nervous and waiting the reaction.Is it true that no man will buy a women perfume if she is really special to him?
I think the ';ladies'; are wrong. It was a sweet and romantic gesture for you to buy that special person a perfume. However, it's always good to ';check in'; with a woman to find out what kinds of fragrances she likes (i.e. florals, spicy, natural, etc) first since women can be particular about what they wear. If you find out that she doesn't like it, you might want to ask her the types of fragrances that she likes. About 15 years ago there was this perfume that came out called ';Poison';. Mostly every one I know got a bottle from our boyfriends and mostly all of us hated it because it was so strong. I don't even think it's around anymore...so use that as an example when talking to this person about her perfume preferences.Is it true that no man will buy a women perfume if she is really special to him?

I think most men don't think to do sweet nice things.But,I'm sure she loved it and thought it was sweet of you.
that is so not true most woman love to smell good and most men love to be under awoman who smells good so they will go and buy her perfume to make sure she keep smelling good

not true Ive gotten perfume from tree different guys however only one actually bought the kind i wear.

I would, but trying to find a scent she likes and that matches body chemistry is kinda of hard without her being there. Then there goes the surprise part of the gift.
